|There are exclusions to this coverage under a few circumstances. This coverage will not provide apply if a person: |
|Uninsured Motorists||Protects policyholders and their family or passengers for bodily injury as a result of an accident occurring in New York state in which the person at fault was uninsured or a hit-and-run accident. Uninsured motorist coverage does not provide any protection for the insured vehicle’s own damages.|
|The limits of uninsured motorist coverage usually are equal to the limits of liability. |
